Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 7 March 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the MASSA REC website and any enquiries, quotes, bookings, or services provided by MASSA REC. By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

MASSA REC provides cleaning, security, and garden maintenance services in Leeds and surrounding areas.

Business address: Suite 703, Block 7, Ashbrooke Park, Parkside Lane, LS11 5SF, Leeds
Email: info@massarec.co.uk

2. Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious content, or interfere with the website’s operation. We may suspend or restrict access if we believe misuse has occurred.

3. Enquiries and Quotes

Submitting a form or contacting us does not create a contract. Quotes are provided based on the information you supply and may change if requirements, property conditions, access, or scope differ from what was described. Where appropriate, we may need further details or a site visit before confirming a final quote.

4. Bookings and Service Agreements

A booking is confirmed when we agree the scope, schedule, and price in writing (email or message) or by confirmed acceptance of a quote. You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide is accurate, including address, access arrangements, and any special site rules. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where safety, access, or conditions make the service impractical or unsafe.

5. Service Scope and Changes

Services are delivered according to the agreed scope and requirements. Any additional work requested outside the agreed scope may require an updated quote and schedule. If conditions on-site prevent completion as agreed, we will inform you and agree the next steps where possible.

6. Access, Safety, and Site Rules

You must provide safe access to the property or site at the agreed time. This includes entry instructions, parking guidance where relevant, and any permits or permissions required. For commercial sites, you must share site rules, induction requirements, and safety procedures in advance. We may stop or postpone work if we believe there is a risk to our team, the public, or your property.

7. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about your requirements and site conditions. You are responsible for securing valuables and sensitive items before a service visit. For garden work, you should identify any fragile items, underground features, or boundaries that may be affected. For cleaning, you should inform us of delicate surfaces or special materials. For security, you should provide relevant access and escalation contacts.

8. Pricing and Payment

Prices are confirmed as part of the booking agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, payment terms may include deposit, payment on completion, or invoiced terms for ongoing contracts. Late payments may result in paused services until the account is brought up to date. If payment methods or timing differ for your booking, this will be agreed in writing.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms may depend on the service type and scheduled date. Where we have allocated staff, travel, or reserved time, we may charge a reasonable fee to cover costs for late cancellations. For ongoing contracts, cancellation and notice periods will be set out in the service agreement.

10. Delays and Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays or inability to provide services due to events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic disruptions, site access issues, power outages, or emergencies. If this happens, we will contact you to rearrange where possible.

11. Quality and Complaints

If you have any concerns about a service, please contact us as soon as possible with details. We aim to resolve issues fairly and promptly. Where appropriate, we may arrange a follow up visit or adjustment based on the agreed scope. This does not affect your statutory rights.

12. Liability

We take reasonable care when delivering services. We are not responsible for issues caused by inaccurate information, pre existing damage, hidden defects, unsafe site conditions, or third party actions outside our control. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided, except where liability cannot be limited under law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, branding, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to MASSA REC. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse website content without our written permission.

14. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using our website or submitting your information, you acknowledge that your data will be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Third Party Links

Our website may include links to third party websites. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, services, or policies.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the updated date.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
